DESCRIPTION:Eggs & Issues is an event series that covers a wide variety of interesting topics concerning the City of Orange and connects Chamber members with influential public figures and industry leaders.\n\nEach breakfast will have a new topic based on current and pressing issues around the region. This format will be the perfect place for community members to be in the know about current issues in and around Orange!\n\n\n*Opinions expressed by our Eggs & Issues guest speaker or panel are the speaker's / panelist's own views and do not reflect the view of the Orange Chamber of Commerce. \n\n\n\nAbout Jose Diaz\n\nJose was hired by the City of Tustin Water. He worked hard and used his time wisely to learn all he could regarding the water industry. Jose was promoted from Maintenance Worker to Crew leader\, Leadworker\, and to Supervisor. While being married to his wife Betty\, with four children\, he attended California State University Long Beach and graduated with a Masters of Public Administration. \n\nIn May 2011\, Jose obtained his dream job when he was hired by the City of Orange as the Water Manager. Jose strongly believes in fiscal and personal responsibilities\, providing his customers with the best quality of service\, and is a proponent for continuing education and encourages his employees to set their goals and follow through. \n\nJose was elected to Anaheim City Council in November 2020 and served District 1 until December 2024. Jose was also was a Board Director for OCTA in 2023 and a Director for North Net Fire Training Facility in 2024.
