DESCRIPTION:THIS IS A COMMUNITY EVENT BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF ORANGE. \n\n\n\nThe Community Foundation of Orange is pleased to present the 8th Annual Orange Field of Valor. From November 5th to 12th\, Handy Park will be transformed into a sea of American flags\, raising money in support of our military and their families in the greater Orange community. Over 1\,200 flags will be erected\, each honoring and proudly recognizing those who are serving in the military\, those who have served\, and those who paid the ultimate price\, giving their lives in service to our country. \n\n\n\nFlags can be purchased to honor a veteran or an active duty/currently deployed member of the military.  Flags can be sponsored at any time during the event for $35 by visiting the information tent\, or by using our online form\, which you can access by clicking HERE. \n\n(3 year tributes are also available for $90)\n\n\n\nThis is a free event and is open to the public. Overnight security will be provided to ensure respect for the flag. Please visit their website for daily honors of operation. Opening ceremonies are at 3pm on Saturday\, November 5th.
